YANG Yang lives in Hangzhou with extensive experience in the media industry. She likes the thickness of the light-hearted surface of life. After graduating from the School of Inter-media Art (SIMA) of China Academy of Art (CAA) with a bachelor’s degree in 2011, she started an exchange program of animation in Columbus College of Art in 2012 and took part in the “Technology & Art” cooperative project in Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2013. In 2014, she earned a Master’s degree of SIMA of CAA and in 2015, she participated in an artist residence program in Galerie Krinzinger ,Vienna, AUT.
