Born in 1989, Shi Zhenhao now lives and works in Guangzhou. He graduated from Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in oil painting. From 2012 to 2013, he worked as a researcher of HB Station. He’s also a member of Fenghuo Monthly. Shi Zhenhao understands “writing” as a kind of action; it is not only text, but also connected with behavior as a structured weaving process. Using words, installations and videos as the media, the complex narration is carried out in space. Interested in words and the social relations hidden behind them, the artist tries to reshape the relationship between individuals and objects, so as to respond to the inevitable loneliness surrounded by words.
